The museum, situated inside the neoclassical Villa Pignatelli, preserves furniture of end of XIX century, porcelains realized by the most important Italian and European factories of the '700 and '800, of which the principal nucleus is constituted by the manufactures of Maissen. Interesting are also the pieces of the manufacture of Vienna. The Italian porcelains of the '700 are represented by objects of production of the Royal Manifacture of Capodimonte. Besides there are some paintings of Neapolitan school of the '700, Chinese vases and sketches of Vincenzo Gemito. To the museum is attached a section (currently in restauration) dedicated to the carriages of that age(XIX and XX century) collected by the marquis Mario d’Alessandro di Civitanova.
